Sitour Czech Republic

The company was founded in Austrian Innsbruck in 1965. The name of the company stands for “signalling in tourism” (panoramic maps, orientation systems, marking, standards and norms), which was the first area in which the company started to perform and still performs its activities.

Since 2007, Sitour Czech Republic has been a daughter company of feratel media technologies AG. The company has its representation in 11 countries of the world. sitour has been performing its activities in the Czech Republic since 1992; in 1995, a separate representation was established in Prague. sitour and its daughter companies implement extensive projects in the field of orientation, electronic, telecommunication and information systems.  In the Czech Republic, the company implements the know-how of its parent company from Austria, which has been developed for more than 50 years. Therefore, not only does Sitour Czech Republic take over the time-tested technologies from its parent company (currently they include, for example, digital entry gate frames), but it also develops its own systems (holidayinfo portal, webcams). Today sitour is involved in all tourist regions in the Czech Republic, particularly in mountain areas and ski centres.
